Energy: Photosynthesis
Who does photosynthesis?
Photosynthesis is the process by which plants, some bacteria and some protistans use the energy from sunlight to produce glucose from carbon dioxide and water. This glucose can be converted into pyruvate which releases ATP by cellular respiration.

PHOTO RESPIRATION
Photorespiration occurs the the carbon dioxide levels inside a leaf become low. This happens on hot dry days when a plant is forced to close its stomata to prevent excess water loss. If the plant continues to fix carbon dioxide when its stomata are closed. the carbon dioxide will get used up and the oxygen ration in the leaf will increase relative to carbon dioxide concentrations.
